Many rubber types are manufactured by adding a reinforcement of a single ply cloth. This increases the tensile strength and also provides resistance against wear and tear of any standardized commercial rubber sheeting. It’s a wide applicability and is used in gaskets and belting. It is also available as an insertion strip and a self-adhesive rubber sheet. A layer of fabric is reinforced which provide strength against high pressure. This type of rubber sheet is specially designed to bear high pressure.
